As Tropical Storm Idalia approaches the Florida Coast and continues to strengthen, the Board of Directors urges you to take precautions for yourself and your family.
With that, the board of directors have decided to close the Pool/Clubhouse/Fitness Center at 7:00 pm, today, August 28, 2023, to properly prepare this area for the storm. The gates will be locked and secured.
The board will be working on storing the pool deck furniture and the pool life safety equipment in the fitness center and the doors will be locked. The bathrooms will also be utilized for storage.
The Pool/Clubhouse/Fitness Center will be reopened when the Board determines that the storm has passed, and it is safe to do so.
The board will also turn off the fountains tonight. They will be turned back on once the storm has passed.
They will remove the barrier arms from the Front Gates and will leave the gates open starting tomorrow morning.
Remember to store any loose items in your yard, potted plants, Toys, Bikes, balls, Soccer Goals, Basketball goals, Trampolines, yard signs, flags, etc.
If you are putting your Hurricane Shutters up, remember that you must remove them within 7 business days. If they are not removed, you are in violation and could receive a fine.
If you have an emergency remember to call emergency services at 911 first.
The management office will be closed until it is safe for me to return to the community.
Please contact the board via the website at https://deltierrahoa.com/contact-us/
Check the status and location of the hurricane with your local station or online at https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
Stay Safe everyone,
Chris Yates, President
The Del Tierra HOA Board of Directors
]]>I wanted to give you an update on items that were discussed at the board meeting last Tuesday night.
The board approved the purchase of 200 flags to be placed in the flower beds along Rye Road during holidays. The first holiday is Sept 4 (Labor Day). We graciously have a group of residents that will be placing these out on Aug 30th, and they will remain up until Sept 5. Please help support our community by respecting what the flags symbolize. Please do not remove the flags. We would like to encourage each home to purchase a flag or two to put in their own yard or flower bed.
The gate system has now been in place for a month and despite some issues at the beginning it is going very well. If you still are having issues, please use the contact us form on the website https://deltierrahoa.com/contact-us/ Briefly explain the issue that you are having. Make sure to include your card #/sticker # or phone number and Directory Code, so that we can research and fix the issue.
We are looking to release the App that goes with the new gate system on Sept 5th. This will allow residents to send their guests Front Gate access codes only. This will make it easier for your guests to get into the community.
If you have any suggestions for the board, please either use the contact form on the website, or email me directly at [email protected]
Thank you,
Chris Yates, President
Del Tierra HOA
